HIGH CARBON ROTOR FEATURES
1. REDUCED BRAKE FADE
Controlling heat is fundamental in reducing brake fade. HELLA Pagid High Carbon Rotors provide better heat transfer for a cooler running brake system. Giving the customer more confidence in the stopping ability of their vehicle.
2. REDUCED BRAKE NOISE
Density plays a majority part in noise absorption, with Hella Pagid High Carbon rotors you get the maximum density per rotor possible for silent brake operation.
3. CORROSION PROTECTION
HELLA Pagid High Carbon Rotors are also coated to insure corrosion protection . Corrosion causes cooling issues and wheel fitment issues that will cause a warranty return.
Using OE specifications HELLA Pagid is able to provide exact fit and finish, while providing better
material content per application.
5. INCREASED FRICTION COMFORT
Using the tightest run out specifications HELLA Pagid High Carbon Rotors reduce “pad knock back” and Judder. Giving customers a more confident pedal and overall better braking performance. Pad knock back is caused by excessive run out pushing the caliper pistons back which increases the air
gap between pad and rotor surface. This will cause a soft pedal and ultimately make the customer lose confidence in the brake job.
6. READY TO INSTALL
Shops care about time and resources. With HELLA Pagid High Carbon Rotors a shop can install the rotors right out of the box. There is no need for brake clean to degrease the rotors and less time will be spent on prep for install. This is a win – win for the shop.
7. INCREASED FRICTION CONSISTENCY
Brake rotors are under a large amount of stress during braking and can distort causing judder or vibrations. HELLA Pagid High Carbon Rotors combine rigorous microstructure inspections and specialized foundry processes to produce a rotor that controls the stress more efficiently to
maintain a high level of friction consistency. These same processes reduce the risk of stress cracks and permanent deformation (warping).
